Judy has more than 30 years experience as an Accountant in public practice. She has extensive experience in providing complex taxation, business advice and assistance to a diverse range of clients. These include large agricultural family groups, businesses involved in real estate including commercial property management, construction and land development, high wealth individuals and families and an array of small business operators. Her key skills also include extensive personal experience in restaurant and hospitality operations, having successfully owned and operated a number of these.
Judy holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree, is a Registered Tax Agent and is an Associate Certified Practicing Accountant.
Gabor is a specialist tax adviser with considerable experience in providing holistic tax and business structuring advice to his clients. His areas of specialisation include high net worth individuals, family groups, tax dispute resolution, and cross-border tax planning. Gabor brings an enthusiastic and common sense approach to the table.
Gabor worked in the United Kingdom as a specialist tax adviser in a large public accounting firm and in the private banking arm of a large international bank. He moved to Australia in August 2008 and held positions as a senior specialist tax adviser in the private clients’ division in two of the country’s largest accounting firms before joining Lyons Judge in August 2013.
Gabor is a fully qualified Chartered Tax Adviser in both the UK and Australia.
Karen joined Lyons Judge in 2018 as an Executive Manager for our Bundaberg office. She has over 20 years’ experience in accounting and taxation, the majority of which has been in the Bundaberg region. Karen has worked with clients across a diverse range of industries and business sizes, ranging from small to medium enterprise to larger clients as well as specialising in companies, trusts, and self-managed superannuation funds. She has a Bachelor of Commerce and is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. Karen is also a registered SMSF auditor and a Commissioner of Declarations.
Karen’s work ethic is second to none and she is always willing to put in the hard yards to meet client needs. Her clients love her for her ability to go the extra mile. She has a strong passion for modern technology, including cloud-based solutions to buy back precious hours for those busy clients.
On the weekends you will find her either cheering from the sidelines at soccer or supporting the family at the speedway. She also enjoys spending time away from business hustle and bustle camping or spending time with family and friends.
Wendy has extensive experience in the accounting and taxation profession spanning over 28 years. Wendy started her career in 1990 with a large local firm in Bundaberg and progressed through that firm to become a partner in 2012. During these years she graduated from USQ in 1996 with a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and then further strengthened her skills by becoming a Chartered Accountant in 1999. Wendy is also a registered SMSF auditor and a JP (Qual.)
Joining Lyons Judge in May 2018 as an Executive Manager, Wendy brings a wealth of experience to the firm with her area of speciality being taxation advice, business services and audit to a broad range of industries. She has a love for colourful spreadsheets and preparing financial reports. Wendy works closely with clients and her ‘hands on’ approach gives them assurance their businesses are in good hands and heading in the right direction.
As a mother of 3 she loves spending time camping with her husband a local business owner and tries to find time to practice her bagpipes when no one is around.
